Kath was an absolute lifesaver for our family during my Dad’s traumatic drowning event that left him in the ICU on life support. Navigating the complexities of the medical system felt like being in a foreign country where we didn’t speak the language, but Kath was our steadfast guide. She took us from the ICU to a rehabilitation center, ensuring my Dad received the best and most informed care possible.

Her support was unwavering. She was always available, providing invaluable advice and answering every question with patience and clarity. Her deep knowledge and extensive experience in healthcare were truly indispensable. She translated confusing medical jargon, helped us understand when and how to assert ourselves with the medical staff, and found the perfect balance between passive acceptance and aggressive advocacy.

Kath’s contributions were many: she guided us in asking the right questions, suggested critical family meetings and planning sessions, and assisted us in setting and understanding measurable goals and making reasonable requests. Her presence was not just helpful but essential, providing a sense of security and empowerment during an incredibly difficult time. We are profoundly grateful for her exceptional support and expertise.

I had no resources to be able to “hear” what was being said about my hospital blood tests and even what questions to ask about next steps. Fabulous, insightful, informative, and jam packed with so much useful information . I attended a prediabetic series because I wanted to be better informed about sugar consumption and glucose monitoring. I feel that I’m pretty knowledgeable on the topic but every session I learned several new facts and tidbits. I wouldn’t hesitate to take other sessions on this topic or other topics.

I used Kath for type 2 diabetes management/coaching/questions which was professional, private and very helpful. I went to her after being prescribed increasing levels of medication as my A1C numbers continued to rise. I wanted a third party review of those meds and a discussion of how I could reduce or eliminate any of them. We moved to a conversation on how my disease could progress, reviewing potential complications and life span reduction. From there we made a plan for handling diet weaknesses and a list of follow up questions for my doctor. All of that was backed up with graphics summarizing key data, informational videos & links to research/studies/statistics. Kath was knowledgeable, approachable & friendly and kept me accountable through the process.
