#activity The meta study posted last night is clear that the “best” activity for chronic low back pain (CLBP) is whatever activity you can and WILL do. Clearly you need to be able to do it pain free. Activities that cause pain are not helpful. “It’s also a good idea to keep in mind that none of these exercises should hurt. They may make you feel uncomfortable or put some strain on your muscles, but if an activity begins to hurt you, stop it at once. ” and also “All of the exercises below are meant to be done with steady movements; no jerking or bouncing. To prevent injury, take it slow, steady, and only do what you feel comfortable with.” The goal is to find a few that you can do consistently and find relief from CLBP. Habits take weeks to develop.
