#nutrition #sleep Today is the last day of September. Tomorrow we delve into sleep. So, for this last Sept blog lets combine the two. “Epidemiological studies show that insufficient sleep is independently associated with a higher risk of obesity. Clinical studies of of sleep-restricted adults show an increased hunger and calorie intake when participants are allowed free access to food.” So, are we hungry or tired? Food can never make up for sleep!
