#activity What’s you Thanksgiving “pre game” plan? I usually hear plans that go like this – ” no point in eating well or exercising now, I’ll wait till after Thanksgiving”. That’s one way but I’d like to propose another. What if, you increased your water intake starting today, made sure you get a 20 min walk done and choose to find your “healthy” from now till Thurs? If you were going in for any joint replacement a good surgeon has you do physical therapy before the surgery so you are “in the best shape possible”. That increases the chances of a good outcome and decreases complications. Why not follow that model? Then, on Thursday – just enjoy and be thankful that your “pregame” got you feeling healthy and stronger before the big day. Below is how I pregame – a pumpkin protein shake and yes…a little whipped cream. No need to get crazy 🦃
