Some tips for the day before a sleep study: Avoid caffeine and alcohol after lunchtime (coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate), wash any hair gel or other styling products out of your hair, don’t nap that day and ask if there are any of your regular medications that you shouldn’t take before the study.
